Safety and Quality
Safety is critical to Heli SGI’s business model. The company takes a risk based approach to our operations to ensure that all reasonably foreseeable Top Risk Events have been systematically defined, documented and coupled, to an appropriate hierarchy of controls to eliminate or reduce risks, to satisfy Regulatory and Contract requirements. Our management systems are DGCA approved and utilize the Safety Event Reporting & Analysis (SERA) web-based safety reporting system. Heli SGI’s Core Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Agility, Resilience and Excellence are the principles that define the company’s culture and guide daily interaction and decision making.
Quality Assurance
Heli SGI holds approved Operations and Maintenance Manuals compliant with Part 135 of the Indonesian Civil Aviation Safety Regulations. All company aircraft are maintained to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Heli SGI’s strict standards. Company engineering personnel are qualified to maintain all company equipment, taking into consideration the unique operating environment and logistics involved to keep the aircraft operational. All aircraft are tracked through Heli SGI’s computerized maintenance planning system which accurately monitors and tracks the utilization of the aircraft while maintaining and updating aircraft component status.
Safety Initiatives
SGI’s Continuous Improvement Policy covers all aspects of our business with the most critical being Safety & Quality. SGI has introduced many Safety Initiatives over the years including; Bespoke Flight Safety Videos for Air Bali & Heli SGI operations, Aircraft Flight Data Monitoring, Electronic Flight Bags, Flight Simulator Training, Aircraft External Torque Gauges, Satellite Flight Following, Nomex Flight Suits for crew, and a Company Veto/Stop Work Policy.
Safety Audits
Heli SGI recognizes the importance of regular safety and operational audits. The company has a robust internal audit program as well as undergoing regular internal, and external compliance audits from our customers and the Department of Civil Aviation. SGI are being regularly audited by Air Safety Navigators, Litson & Associates, and SGS Australia on behalf of our client base, and the Flight Safety Foundation in respect to attaining BARS Accreditation, of which Heli SGI holds Gold Status.

Private Heliport & Maintenance Facility
Heli SGI Facilities
SGI operates a DGCA approved maintenance facility which provides full, ‘in house’ maintenance and spares support for all our aircraft. In addition, SGI carries a large inventory of spare parts and components for our aircraft. SGI’s well-trained and experienced team of licensed aircraft maintenance engineers accompany and carry out field maintenance on company aircraft when dispatched away from our main operating base.
